Did you love school or hate it? Whatever your answer is there’s no denying we spent a massive part of our lives at School. Even if you hated it you must have a couple of fond memories of your school days – even if it was just home time! If you started School in the pre-internet then you are bound to remember a few things from this list.
1. Gym Mats
When you were climbing the ropes in gym class, this was your savior when you fell down.
2. National Record of Achievement
3. BBC Micro
So many hours playing Witches Garden and learning code. In half a day this thing could draw a whole entire box! Oh, technology…
4. Kicking your day off with one of these delicious breakfast cereals before you headed off to school.
What a nutritious way to start your day!
5. Disclosure Tablets
If you wanted to see which areas of your teeth your weren’t brushing properly, you would chew up, swished one of these. It tasted like a strange mix of toothpaste and candy and it also has reputation for temporarily dying peoples’ teeth pink!

6. The Ditto Machine was the classroom’s printing press for all of our homework assignments.
99% of the time, there would be ink stains all over our hands but it was worth it because for some reason, when our homework was printed out it always smelled really good
7. The Infamous Wall Pencil Sharpener
It was always very squeaky. It was always somewhat broken. It sometimes sharpened your pencil thoroughly, it sometimes just straight up butchered your pencil.
8. We Always Passed Notes
This is what our communication before texting and social media. It was creative and scandalous in the best ways.
9. Wooden Pencil Case
This came with its own special pencil sharpener when you were too lazy to use the wall pencil sharpener. So handy dandy!
10. Exercise Books
We had one for every subject, at least they came in different colors so we knew which book for was for which topic!
What stickers are next on our list? I loved putting these on my locker…
