In the spirit of Christmas, Rod Stewart went to browse for trees with his wife, Penny Lancaster, and their sons, Alastair Wallace and Aiden Patrick. The four of them posed for photos while on the Christmas tree farm, and Penny shared their snap to her Instagram story with Rod’s “Let It Snow” playing in the background.
Rod looked extra cozy in his snow jacket with brown fur lining detail and a blue turtleneck top underneath. Penny stood behind their sons, who both wore black hoodies, and Alastair put his arm around his younger sibling Aiden. This family time comes amid talks of Rod’s final tour in the pending dates.
Rod Stewart is getting ready for his farewell tour
Rod will park the tour bus permanently after his next and final time on the road, starting in March 2025 and running through August. He would also do 13 shows at The Colosseum in Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, between March and June.
Rod’s 13-year residency in Sin City was meant to wrap up in August with his 200th appearance; however, the gig was canceled because the 79-year-old had a sore throat. He clarified that he was not interested in retiring anytime soon and would keep performing except for big tours.
Rod Stewart reunited with all his children
A few months ago, Rod posed for photos with all his eight children—Sarah, Kimberly, Ruby, Renee, Sean, Liam, Alastair, and Aiden—at Liam’s wedding in Croatia. Rod’s ex-wife and mother to the groom, Rachel Hunter, was also at the venue with his current wife, Nicole Artukovich.
The singer-songwriter shared his hack for managing a big family: treating each person as an individual. He admitted that his children have all gotten different versions of him over the years and that he is more of a lenient dad lately. As Rod turns 80 in January, he knows that days grow shorter but wishes to make the most of the time left.
