As the investigation into Matthew Perry’s death continues, his friend and fellow celebrity Brooke Mueller was questioned by the Los Angeles Police. The 47-year-old actress, who was formerly married to Charlie Sheen, met Perry in rehab, and their friendship took flight from there.
Although she was not charged for his ketamine overdose, she was involved in connecting him to physicians with access to some medication. A source revealed that they both helped each other find doctors who were less strict with providing them with prescription drugs.
Matthew Perry befriended Brooke Mueller for drugs
According to the informant, the bedrock of Perry’s friendship with Brooke was to have access to drugs and nothing more. The source noted that Perry used her as a pawn and would relentlessly hound her for favors. Friends who were on to Perry also tried to prevent their friendship to no avail.

Theirs was also a one-sided relationship, as Perry would be the one to reach out occasionally via Facetime or text when he needed a fix. The actress reportedly connected him with Dr. Jasveen Sangha, a.k.a “The Ketamine Queen,” who was among the five arrested suspects following investigations.
Brooke allegedly met her addict ex-husband through Perry
Brooke hit it off with Charlie Sheen after they reportedly met at one of Perry’s parties. They got married in 2008 but divorced in 2011 after having twin boys, Bob and Max. Like Brooke, Sheen was also addicted to alcohol and drugs, which was the reason his first wife, Denise Richards, left him.
Denise accused him of turning violent, and about a year into his marriage to Brooke, he allegedly held a knife to her throat. They both went in and out of rehab until their split, and Brooke went right back in 2012 after encountering problems with Adderall. It is not a surprise that Perry and Brooke bonded as they shared a common struggle.
