John Stamos went all out for the 47th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death by nailing the late legend’s look to a ‘T.’ He stole the show with an Instagram post featuring his Elvis cosplay, which he achieved with a black leather jacket, an acoustic guitar, and a hairstyle just how the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll wore his.
Stamos shared eight slides of his look, including black-and-white and vintage edits to mimic the king from the day. “Elvis will never truly leave the building,” his caption read. He tagged the talented photographer behind the shots, Robert Trachtenberg, who later reposted the photos on his page.

Another noted that Stamos looked like singer-songwriter and guitar guru Merle Haggard, who died of pneumonia in 2016. “To be 30 years older than when Elvis was, you’re quite impressive,” some other user gushed.
Remembering Elvis
Stamos was one of the few Hollywood celebrities to mark Elvis’ death anniversary on their social media platforms over the weekend. Elvis’ ex-wife, Priscilla Presley, did the same on her Instagram with a black and white clip of young Elvis zooming out while the instrumental to “Always On My Mind” played.
Linda Thompson, Elvis’ ex-girlfriend, also paid tribute with a photo of them and Elvis’ late daughter, Lisa Marie Presley. “This day, August 16, will forever be etched in my heart and mind…May we cherish our loved ones while they are here, and may the memory of those we have loved – who have gone before us – always remain,” she wrote.
