Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz’s children looked adorable together as they met up in Las Vegas, and sweet photos made it to Instagram thanks to their oldest. Lucie and Desi Arnaz Jr. were born to their parents in the ‘50s and grew up in the spotlight.
Both in their 70s, Lucie and Desi have retreated to a more private life to the point where their parents’ fans have wondered how they are faring. Lucie cleared all doubts with her latest Instagram post, assuring fans that she and her brother are doing just fine.

Lucie showed off her brother Desi on her Instagram page, noting that his “recalcitrant” self just loves to stay undercover. “Desi is alive and well, my friends,” she gushed. They were in the city for the 35th-anniversary celebration of Star Trek V at The Treksperts Convention and caught up with industry friends while at it.

Fans were relieved and delighted to see the Arnaz siblings and could not hold back their excitement. “Wonderful to see Desi. Love seeing you two together,” someone said. “So happy to see Desi Jr enjoying his life as he well pleases! Glad he’s able to find a peace beyond the spotlight,” another added.
Life after childhood fame
After Here’s Lucy ended in 1974, Lucie forged ahead with her solo acting career, starring in productions like Annie Get Your Gun and 1979’s They’re Playing Our Song, where she met her husband Laurence Luckinbill. They welcomed three children together but her craft grew stronger with a Golden Globe nomination, an Emmy win and her own one-season comedy show, The Lucie Arnaz Show.
Desi blended music and film early on and earned a Golden Globe for his performance in 1971’s Red Sky. His love life has been a controversial one, with an affair that led to the birth of his first daughter Julia as a teenager, and short-lived relationships until his final one with his late wife Amy Laura Bargiel.
