Studio Actions’ upcoming auctions will see actress Brooke Shields’ Calvin Klein jeans from an ‘80s ad find a new owner. The auction house assures that the jeans are in good condition and may be pegged at $50,000 for their lucky buyer.
Brooke has high hopes that her trousers will fit its next owner perfectly, just like it did her, with her waist being so tiny at the time. She also has a vintage cheerleading sweater, which holds great sentiment from her high school days at Dwight Inglewood, to give out.
The Calvin Klein jeans ad was controversial at the time
Brooke was only 15 when she posed for Calvin Klein in a gorgeous pair of mid-rise jeans and a brown shirt. The iconic shot shows Brooke bending her hips to the side and trying to button her buttons, while her lush shoulder-length hair flows and shines.

The ad soon came under fire for letting a minor make such sultry poses, and many TV networks later banned it. However, Brooke said in retrospect that she did not think anything of it, and Klein weighed in on the matter last year, clarifying that it was simply a fun and innocent shoot.

The “From Bombshells to Blasters: An Auction You Can’t Refuse” event will take place in September and October, with Brooke’s pants going on sale during the latter. The 59-year-old also gave up the script from the 1980s, The Blue Lagoon.
This sale announcement comes after Brooke revealed that her two daughters, Rowan and Grier, will be leaving for college. This means Brooke and her husband of 23 years, Chris Henchy, will be empty nesters soon.
