A woman named Luanne recently shared details about how she can live a comfortable lifestyle by relying solely on her Social Security income following her retirement. She plans to achieve this by relocating to a tiny home of 280 square feet, which she just bought at the Incredible Tiny Homes village in Newport, Tennessee, for slightly under $79,000.
Luanne, who is now mortgage-free, only pays a monthly rent of $200 for her land within the community and an additional $25 for her water bill. In a guided house tour featured on the YouTube channel, the retiree showcased her purposefully designed home to accommodate her in her post-retirement years.

Tiny Houses are fast becoming famous in the United States
The popularity of small homes has risen due to Americans seeking to reduce their monthly expenses. Unlike conventional houses that can exceed $300,000 in cost, these homes provide a minimalist way of living and usually come at prices ranging from $10,000 to $100,000, whether constructed or bought.
Several companies in the United States are now in the business of developing and selling tiny homes. For instance, Incredible Tiny Homes, situated in Newport, Tennessee, functions as a community and a company, crafting affordable tiny homes. Founder Randy Jones currently provides 100 new units for just $15,000. Nevada’s Boxabl sells pre-made tiny houses for $50,000, including customers like Elon Musk. Meanwhile, Escape offers visually stunning tiny homes starting at $42,000, often hailed as the world’s most beautiful.
