Dolly Parton is 77 years old and she is still maintaining her beautiful look. Some people think that the secret to her young look lies in her skincare routine while others say it’s her positive attitude but the country musician had once joked, “I don’t have time to age.”
However, the singer has finally shared the secret for her youthful appearance. “I try all the new things that come out, but there’s nothing better than good old Vaseline and those eye makeup remover pads,” Parton explained. “I use those little pads to clean my face, and it leaves enough mineral oil on my skin that it’s a good nighttime moisturizer. I have pretty good skin considering my age, and I think a lot of it is mineral oil.”
Dolly Parton reveals that she had cosmetic surgery
Parton is not shy when it comes to being real about the fact that she had some cosmetic procedures done. “People always say I look happy, and I say well that’s the Botox,” she said. “Good lighting, good makeup, and good doctors, that’s my secret.” In total, the country musician has had a breast augmentation, breast implants, a brow lift, surgery on her eyelids, a nose job, and her chin operated on.

The “Jolene” crooner claimed in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning in 2019 that even though she has had surgery, she is still natural. “It is true that I look artificial, but I believe that I’m totally real. My look is really based on a country girl’s idea of glam. I wasn’t naturally pretty, so I make the most of anything I’ve got,” Parton told the outlet. “I’m telling you, I’m not. You should have seen me this morning before I got ready to see you. I’m serious, though. I’m not a natural beauty, but I can enhance it. Whatever it takes, I do. I try to make the most of everything.”
The singer gives up the secret of her young looks
The 77-year-old further revealed that even though she has the money to get expensive skincare products, she prefers to go simple. “I don’t do any big rituals with my skin or anything, and I don’t think you have to pay a ton of money to have good products,” Parton said. “Most of the products that cost less are just as good, and sometimes better than the ones that cost a fortune. I don’t buy for fame. I just buy the ones that work for me.”
“I never got out in the sun,” the Tennessee native revealed. “I don’t have a lot of the same problems that women my age do ’cause I never baked myself in the sun,” she concluded. “I would’ve if I’d been able to tan, but I couldn’t, so now I’m glad.”
