8 Of The Worst And Scariest Movie Mothers Of All Time

5. Kathleen Turner in Serial Mom

This movie from the 1990s was strange. Kathleen seemed to be the perfect wife and mother in a suburban neighborhood, but she killed people who annoyed her. What an overreaction!

6. Norma Bates in Psycho

We couldn’t make this list without including Norma Bates. She is very possessive over her son Norman and is probably the reason that Norman has split personalities and becomes a serial killer. Scary stuff! This premise has also been made into other movies and shows.

7. Abbey in Mother’s Day

This movie was all about the mother asking her sons to impress her. Unfortunately, they did it by kidnapping, raping and murdering people. This horror movie from the 1980s does not get great reviews. Did you love or hate it?

8. Kate McCallister in Home Alone

This one is simple. How do you go on a family vacation and forget your son? Geez!

What other movies would you add to this list? Can you think of any other scary movie mothers?
