Unfortunately, Mother Nature is not a very forgiving person when it comes to Mears designs.
Once, when she was standing outside and modeling one of her dresses, it started to rain, which ruined the dress. But Mears wasn’t discouraged. She simply reconstructed the dress. In fact, she admits that she’s “reconstructed this one a few times.”
It just comes to show you that one person’s holiday trash can be another person’s treasure.
Mears undoubtedly has plenty of talent, and if you check out her site, you’ll see that she doesn’t just limit her looks to the holidays. She comes up with costumes for every occasion using unconventional materials.
Mears also has an incredible sense of humor, especially when it comes to holiday outfits.
She even made a Christmas sweater using plastic tree branches from a Christmas tree to create a hoodie. Of course, she admits that she’s a “fire hazard.” Clearly, she’s on fire with her stunning, amazing talent!
