Even when they’re dressed similarly, it seems that the differences in how they look is getting more pronounced as they get older. They’re sororal twins (the female version of fraternal), yet somehow always looked identical. It seems with age the differences between them are becoming more noticeable. Mary Kate’s eyes being rounder in shape, it’s now much easier to recognize than it was when they were toddlers. Even though their hair is similarly styled here, it’s much easier to tell them apart.
If you look at a picture of them now, it is almost impossible to believe that they were once mistaken for identical twins. Hair, clothing, and make-up went a long way in helping the two look alike, but it could just be that aging is emphasizing the features that make them look dissimilar. Time will tell.
