After an incredible run that made him one of the biggest winners in recent Jeopardy! History: Caleb Groen is finally looking ahead to life after the game show. The Harvard Law student impressed viewers with his remarkable knowledge, winning 12 consecutive games before his streak came to an end.

According to TVInsider, his impressive performance earned him nearly $350,000 in prize money, secured a place among the show’s top 20 regular-season champions, and guaranteed him a return appearance in the 2027 Tournament of Champions. Now, fans are just as curious about what he’ll do with his winnings as they were about his next correct response.

Unlike many students who might immediately use a large cash prize to tackle tuition or student loans, Caleb Groen has a different plan in mind. While completing an internship in New York before returning to Harvard Law School, he revealed that one of his first purchases will be replacing his broken bicycle in Cambridge.

Beyond that practical expense, Groen is thinking much bigger. He said the money could help him make a down payment on a condo or even a house, something he described as truly life-changing. He also hopes to increase his charitable giving, explaining that sharing some of his unexpected fortune with others is an important goal for him.

During his post-show chat with host Ken Jennings, Caleb Groen hinted at promises he still hopes to fulfill for those who supported him before his television success. He also shared plans to visit Japan with friends, though law school will likely delay the trip. For now, Groen says he’s grateful for his newfound financial security and the unwavering support of his parents and brother, who attended every taping.

Although his winning streak has ended, Caleb Groen leaves the stage with far more than prize money. His remarkable performances earned him a place in Jeopardy! history, introduced him to millions of viewers, and opened the door to even bigger opportunities when he returns for the Tournament of Champions. Until then, fans will be watching to see what the talented law student accomplishes next, both inside and outside the famous quiz show.
