She also openly described herself as someone who battled food addiction for years. Sharon explained that her relationship with eating often became emotional, making it difficult to maintain a steady balance. Over time, she experimented with different methods, including structured diet programs, while continuing to speak honestly about the pressures tied to appearance in the entertainment industry. Her willingness to discuss those struggles publicly resonated with many fans who appreciated her direct and unfiltered honesty about aging, health, and self-image.

After taking Ozempic for less than a year, Sharon revealed that the rapid weight loss became alarming. She said she eventually dropped below 100 pounds and found it difficult to regain the weight she lost. Even though she stood by her decision to try the medication, she admitted the results became more extreme than she anticipated.

The television star also shared concerns about younger people using similar medications too casually. She warned that the quick results could become psychologically addictive, especially for teenagers still developing healthy relationships with food and body image. Despite the difficult experience, Sharon explained that the situation ultimately pushed her toward greater self-acceptance. She said she has become calmer about her appearance and no longer wants to obsess over cosmetic procedures or constant weight loss efforts. For many longtime fans, that honesty may be one of the most relatable parts of her story.
