Christina Applegate Reflects On The Reunion Night

The event, titled “An Evening with the Bundys,” drew a couple thousand fans eager to see the cast together again. Applegate admitted she did not wear a mask and described the atmosphere as filled with “so many germs.” Though she tried to keep things light and funny during the moderated discussion, she now suspects that decision may have led to her illness.

Despite the health concerns that followed, Applegate said she enjoyed reconnecting with her television family. The night, however, proved exhausting. Because of her MS diagnosis in 2021, late evenings can take a toll. She explained that a 7:30 p.m. start time already felt overwhelming, joking that she would normally be in pajamas rather than in full hair and makeup before thousands of people.
