Kelly Osbourne Accepts Ozzy Osbourne Lifetime Achievement Award On His Behalf In Heartfelt Post

Kelly Osbourne accepted the Ozzy Osbourne Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of her late father nearly three months after his passing. The heartfelt moment took place at the Birmingham Awards on October 17, honoring the rock legend’s long career and his love for his hometown. Kelly said accepting Ozzy Osbourne’s Lifetime Achievement Award was an honor and that she felt her father’s pride from above.

The tribute highlighted how much Birmingham meant to the late musician. After the family announced his death in July, fans and fellow artists reflected on his powerful influence on music and culture. By accepting Ozzy Osbourne’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Kelly gave her father’s fans another opportunity to celebrate his lasting impact.

On Instagram, Kelly thanked fans for their love and support. She explained that being a “Brummy” was central to her father’s identity and that this recognition would have meant the world to him. Accepting Ozzy Osbourne’s Lifetime Achievement Award, she said, was a way to celebrate both his achievements and his deep connection to the city he adored.

According to People, Ozzy died on July 22 from cardiac complications. A private funeral procession in Birmingham on July 30 brought family and friends together for a final farewell. Kelly’s public appearance at the Birmingham Awards, however, allowed fans to share in the collective remembrance of her father’s life and legacy.

Since her father’s passing, Kelly has opened up about finding new ways to heal. She revealed that spending time with birds through falconry has helped her rediscover happiness.
