The couple has held one of the longest-lasting marriages in Hollywood, and now, 35 years later, they are celebrating that journey with a rare and heartfelt tribute. At 95 and 84, they are no longer in the spotlight they once lived under, but their love story continues to blossom and inspire others. The couple first met in the 1950s during their early acting days at FOX studios. Though they co-starred in a few projects, including How I Spent My Summer Vacation, it took nearly three decades before their romance began.

Both had known love and loss before they came together. Wagner had been married twice to the late Natalie Wood. After her tragic passing in 1981, he became the legal guardian of Natasha Gregson Wagner, Wood’s daughter whose father was producer Richard Gregson, while continuing to raise their daughter Courtney Wagner.
Wagner is also a father to Katie Wagner from his marriage to Marion Marshall. Meanwhile, Jill had also experienced love. But when they crossed paths again in 1982, a bond developed. They started dating, and their chemistry was instant, solid, and easy. By 1990, they were married, beginning a romantic journey that would become their longest and most peaceful.
Milestone wedding anniversary
In 2007, they left Los Angeles and moved full-time to Aspen, Colorado, where they found the calm and privacy that they had both longed for. Wagner has spoken of Aspen as his forever home, a place where he feels most grounded.
In his autobiography, Pieces of My Heart, Wagner shared that he would love to live in Aspen for the rest of his life. The couple enjoys taking walks, spending quiet evenings, and keeping each other company. Although they have stepped back from acting, they continue to make rare appearances together, including this anniversary montage.
