Ann-Margret’s Hollywood journey began in the early 1960s. After winning her first Golden Globe for Pocketful of Miracles, she rose to fame with roles in Bye Bye Birdie and The Swinger. But it was Viva Las Vegas that sealed her status as a superstar and  made her one of the most talked-about couples in showbiz.

Her connection with Elvis wasn’t just for the cameras. In her 1994 memoir, she wrote, “We both felt a current, an electricity that went straight through us.” Though their romance eventually ended, their story remains one of the most iconic pairings in entertainment history. Now, at 84, Ann-Margret hasn’t lost her spark. She recently performed alongside singer Pat Boone at a veterans’ event in Omaha, Nebraska. She wore a classy dress and signature smile, looking as radiant as ever.

Ann-Margret is still loved by many

Ann-Margret also made a surprise appearance at Planet Comicon in Kansas City earlier this year, where fans were thrilled to see her. In her video message, she flashed that familiar smile and greeted followers with warmth and charm.

Comments from fans poured in: “You’re still drop-dead gorgeous!” and “You haven’t aged a day since Elvis!” Others simply called her an American treasure. Ann-Margret is not just remembered for being Elvis Presley’s love interest, she’s also celebrated for being unforgettable in her own right.
