Jay Leno and Mavis, to whom he has been married since 1980, have undoubtedly experienced one of the most longstanding relationships in the entertainment industry. Unlike many celebrity couples, they have managed to keep their relationship solid and low-key over the years. Sadly, the duo was dealt a devastating blow when Mavis was diagnosed with advanced dementia in early 2024, a condition that affected the dynamics of their lives. The Collision Course actor has been dedicated to taking care of his wife even though he has a very hectic schedule.
In a new interview, the 74-year-old shared details about how delighted he has been performing his duty as his wife’s primary caretaker since he was granted conservatorship in April 2024.
