Ford, who was initially announced as one of the presenters for this year’s Academy Awards scheduled for February 26 disclosed that he will no longer be in attendance after he was diagnosed with shingles. The seasoned actor was set to be a part of a star-studded array of presenters, featuring actors such as Dave Bautista, Gal Gadot, Samuel L. Jackson, and Zoe Saldaña, among others.
Even with this bump in the road, Ford’s publicist has assured fans that the actor is getting better. In a statement shared with various media outlets, the publicist confirmed that the actor is recovering well from shingles and is working on getting back to full health.
