Harrison Ford received a Disney Legend honor for his work at Lucasfilm during the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. The event took place recently, and the 82-year-old awardee showed up wearing a gray two-piece suit over an off-white shirt, with his gray hair in a side part.
After ceremonially molding his handprint in cement, Ford was asked to sign his name but struggled to steady his hand. Although happy about his well-deserved recognition, fans could not get past Ford’s frail appearance as event photos made it to social media.

Ford’s supporters cheered him on social media, while some expressed their concern about his looks as news outlets shared highlights from his honorary moment. “Is anyone else concerned one hand was more pressed than the other?” someone asked, while another said it was difficult to see Ford so old.
While receiving his award, Ford gave a wholesome speech about the privilege of being a storyteller, while commending Disney for their commitment to quality. “Congratulations to my hero! So very well deserved!” an Instagram user gushed, praising the screen icon for his latest achievement.
Ford is famous for playing Hans Solo in Star Wars back in the ‘70s; however, his career began a decade prior with credits in productions like Gunsmoke, Ironside, and American Style. Star Wars put Ford on the map, opening him up to bigger opportunities while he reprised his role in ensuing sequels.
He landed his second franchise role with Indiana Jones thanks to a collaboration between Lucasfilm, a subsidiary of Disney, and Steven Spielberg. Despite age and a few past health scares including a fractured ankle during filming, Ford has refused to retire, saying he does not feel well when idle.
