A Titanic exhibit is currently on display at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, drawing the attention of visitors who were eager to see the limited artifacts of the ship. The presentations show a range including personal belongings like jewelry and clothing to champagne bottles.

There is even a logometer that still indicates the exact distance the ocean liner had covered before it went down. A new addition, however, has recently been discovered and introduced to the growing collection on display.

The Titanic chandelier was recently recovered

The museum announced the arrival of a grand chandelier that had once adorned the first-class smoking room of the doomed vessel. The 20-lb chandelier has been on display at the exhibition since last Saturday. Despite being on the bottom of the ocean for over a century, it still has its gold patina and fine detailing.

It is shockingly well-preserved and has been restored by the museum. The RMS Titanic Inc. group dedicated to recovering and keeping Titanic artifacts in their original place, were excited about their new find and look forward to adding it to the collection.
