Ali MacGraw was recently seen in New York City, wearing a sleek black suit and a matching handbag, which she complemented with her signature gray hair packed in a low bun. At 85, she still looked fabulous as she strutted the streets in kitten heels.
Her charisma was reminiscent of her early acting days, including her most popular film, Love Story, which she did 55 years ago. She played the role of Jenny Cavilleri in, which solidified her status in Hollywood, earning her a Golden Globe and an Academy nomination for Best Actress.

Although Ali had a thriving career, she embraced a quieter lifestyle away from the spotlight after her third marriage to Steve McQueen ended. Ali relocated to Tesuque, New Mexico, in the mid-‘90s after fires ravaged her home in Malibu. She became an advocate for yoga and holistic health, and co-produced Ali MacGraw Yoga Mind and Body, which has motivated many to explore the practice.
She is also dedicated to animal welfare and is a U.S. Ambassador for animal welfare charity Animals Asia. Ali, who has six Scottish Terriers, has largely retired from acting, once noting that she is tired of the media probing into her private life.

Ali’s early days began with modeling and styling before she got her first breakout role on Goodbye, Columbus, after which Love Story followed. It was not until 2021 that she and her co-star Ryan O’Neal got side-by-side stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the film’s 50th anniversary.
Her appearance at the special Valentine’s Day event at The Lowell’s Majorelle restaurant in New York City was proof that Ali has been aging gracefully since she left the spotlight. Her son, Josh Evans, is also a recognized actor, director, and producer in the entertainment industry.
