Jane Seymour has been married four times, each ending in a divorce, and at the time she was set on a blind date with John Zambetti, she was “very, very single.” Telling the story of how she met her present boyfriend, Seymour spoke about her lack of interest in a romantic relationship. “I’m done with guys,” she said.
However, her friend, rapper Shwayze, invited her to his show in Malibu and set her on a blind date. Not knowing what would happen, Jane Seymour attended the concert, whichwas held at a Malibu club, and met Shwayze’s grandmother and John Zambetti. The couple would later share that they were indeed meant to be together as their sons had been friends since childhood. The boys played in each other’s homes, yet the parents never got a chance to meet until Zambetti’s wife passed away 43 years after their marriage.
Their shared love for music
Jane Seymour describes her boyfriend as the most loving and extraordinary man, especially because of his music. As a longtime songwriter and guitarist for the band The Malibooz, John Zambetti found a way to speak to Seymour’s heart through lyrics. He wrote her love songs, which she revealed meant a lot to her.
John Zambetti teased that an entire album might be on the way. Both of their sons are musicians, Johnny Zambetti plays in The Palms, while Seymour’s son Johnny Keach is also a rock musician and this makes their love of music become yet another bond that ties them together.
