The striking image from 2000 shows the Australian actress at a Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Los Angeles, and she looked stunning in her shimmery gold dress with a cigarette between her lips.
Beside her was Tom, who seemed to be engaged in another conversation as he looked elsewhere. They were married for more than a decade until their divorce in 2001. Nicole and Tom adopted two children, Connor and Isabella, who are now in their thirties or around there.

The old photo of Nicole taking a drag from her cigarette went viral, and many were quick to judge the screen goddess’s demeanor in the shot. “She looked dead inside next to Tom,” one user observed, while another echoed a similar sentiment that Nicole must have hated Tom. “She is so stunning, honestly, that hair,” they quipped.
Rather than her appearance, fans continued to zero in on her rocky marriage to Tom, who married Katie Holmes next. “The day that divorce was final, our girl came back to life!” a third reply stated, and one more person thought Tom was so lucky to be Nicole’s husband.
