Cole was also famous for appearing as Harlan Barrett in the ‘90s on General Hospital, which is in its 61st season. Cole did so many TV series like The Eddie Capra Mysteries, Murder, She Wrote, Fantasy Island, Diagnosis: Murder, and It, but none stood out quite like The Mod Squad.

Cole admitted to passing on the offer to play Cochran at first because he hated having to portray an undercover cop who had to betray his friends. Another look at the script for Mod Squad changed Cole’s mind and it turned out to be the most successful series of his soap career.
