A recent photo of William Shatner made it to Reddit after a curious fan needed to clarify his real age. They accompanied the snap with a note stating that Shatner looks younger than 93, and appears more enthusiastic than other actors from his time.
The user noted that Shatner looks like someone in his 60s or 70s, and many agreed in the comments. He still looks chubby, and spots clean shave while keeping his gray locks short. Sagging skin has also eluded the iconic actor, as his face looks fresh and taut.
Fans argue William Shatner’s age
Like the poster, other Redditors could not believe Shatner was 93 and debated in the comments. “I just realized I’ve considered him to be a 60-something-year-old actor for basically my entire life. It was reading this that made me realize he likely hasn’t been in his 60s for the last 30+ years,” someone said.
Another was not at all fazed, noting that he simply has good genes. “If you stood my 65-year-old dad next to 93-year-old William Shatner you could definitely convince people they were in the same year at school and Shatner has just had a highly stressful job,” they explained.
