Judith Light addressed talks of a Who’s the Boss? reboot, as she expressed her excitement at a potential possibility, noting that she is curious to see where life must have taken their characters. She played advertising executive Angela Bower alongside Tony Danza’s Tony Micelli in the ‘80s series lasting eight seasons.
During her chat with Variety, she admitted to having such a tight schedule that it may hinder her from reprising her role, but she has learned to never say never after some ironic events in her life. She vowed never to do a soap or series or marry an actor—all of which she has done.
Will there be a ‘Who’s the Boss?’ reboot with Judith Light?
Reports about a Who’s the Boss? reboot first got out in 2022, naming Amazon Freevee as the host platform for the sequel three decades later. There has yet to be any significant move on the revival, and executive producer Mike Royce has yet to receive a greenlight from the showrunners.
After playing Angela in the hit ABC sitcom, Judith moved on to other award-winning roles like Claire Meade in Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and Ugly Betty— which earned her a Primetime Emmy nomination for outstanding supporting actress.
A ‘Who’s the Boss?’ reunion
The cast of the fan-favorite show has maintained a cordial relationship off-camera, as they often reunite to support one another. In September, Milano stopped by Danza’s “Sinatra and Stories” cabaret show in New York City to show support for her TV dad.
This comes after most of the cast, including Danny Pintauro and Alyssa Milano, attended the same show but in Los Angeles in 2022. While anticipating a reason to work with her former co-stars, Judith recently collaborated with Billy Crystal on Apple TV’s psychological thriller Before.
