Christie Brinkley enjoyed some family time with her daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, and her son, Jack Brinkley-Cook, as they sailed on a boat for a fun evening. Also joining them was Alexa’s longtime boyfriend, Ryan Gleason, who was seen planting a kiss on her cheek in one of Christie’s snaps.
The 70-year-old showed off moments from the evening on her Instagram with the caption, “August Nights on the water are the best!” Christie kept it simple with a black top and a pink patterned scarf wrapped around her face while having fun with her grown kids.

Christie’s followers thought the photos were adorable. However, they were more concerned about Alexa and her beau as they showered them with compliments and even asked when they were getting married. “Has Alexa and her beau set a date?” a fan asked.

Another gushed about the last slide, which showed Alexa safe in Ryan’s embrace as he squeezed her arm and stared away. “So glad that you caught that moment and so happy that Alexa and Ryan are living it … THIS is what love looks like,” they exclaimed.
Love is in the air?
Alexa and Ryan have been together for about eight years and even got engaged in 2018. Alexa blamed the delay of their wedding on 2020’s COVID-19 pandemic, noting that it ruined the plans for their next step. With Christie’s latest post, fans are curious to know when the longtime duo will finally tie the knot after so long.
In 2021, Alexa released the classic vintage-themed music video for “Seven Years,” which she claimed was a love song dedicated to Ryan. Ryan reportedly wept during his first listen as the track narrated the highs and lows of their romantic journey. The 38-year-old has also dabbled into some modeling alongside her mother and younger sister Sailor, however, music appears to be more of her forte.
