Candace Cameron Bure indulged her Instagram followers in some nostalgia as she shared a vintage photo from her childhood to her stories. Little Bure looked adorable with her long hair in two pigtails and a hula hoop around her waist.
She wore a long-sleeved top over a pair of jeans, and smiled right at the camera amid her fun time outdoors. “Everyone tap in. Let’s see you as a kid,” Bure wrote over the picture, encouraging her fans to seek out and share their childhood memories.

Bure was born to Robert and Barbara Cameron in 1976 in Los Angeles, California, after their first son and child, Kirk, who is known for playing Mike Seaver in ABC’s Growing Pains. She began her acting career as a child and became a cast member of the fan-favorite Full House at 11.

At 13, she hosted 1990’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards alongside co-stars Dave Coulier and David Faustino. More opportunities opened up for Bure as she grew into teenhood in the spotlight.
Breaks and comebacks
Aside from acting, Bure is known for her conservative and family-oriented nature. As she began building her family with Russian hockey player Valeri Bure, who she married in 1996, Bure took a break from the spotlight to look after their three kids.
The 48-year-old made her comeback by hosting shows and then refocusing on series and movies. Aside from her successful Hollywood career, Bure is also a four-time author with bestsellers based on inspiration and her Christian faith.
