‘Charlie’s Angels’ Star Jaclyn Smith Pursuing New Career Path At 78

Jaclyn Smith is proof that it is never too late to switch lanes as the actress recently announced her new fragrance ahead of its release later this month. The prettily packaged perfume named Jackie will be available on HSN and comes in a simple but classy glass bottle.

This news comes 43 years after Smith played Kelly Garret in the Charlie’s Angels series, reprising her role in subsequent productions, including its 2019 version. The 78-year-old is more than excited to launch her perfume, which reminds her of her mother and gives a feel of her garden and travel experiences.

Jaclyn Smith promotes new perfume line

Jackie comes in 3.4 oz. bottle and promises to announce its wearer’s presence before they speak. The $75 perfume contains bergamot, aldehydes and amber, French rose and earthy musk, sandalwood and heliotrope as base notes. Just like her mother’s scent left a memory in Smith’s life, it promises to do the same when people perceive it.

To promote the product, Smith took a clip of her showing off the bottle on Instagram while wearing a beautifully patterned top and faded green pants. “Scent can be uplifting, it triggers happy memories, and is an invisible extra that captures your personality. Introducing ~ Jackie!” her caption read.

Life as a serial entrepreneur

Aside from being an excellent actress, Smith’s flair for business and creativity led her to launch a clothing brand, JS For Nordstrom Rack and to design outfits for K-Mart. Nonetheless, she remains famous as Kelly from Charlie’s Angels, starring in all 110 episodes and becoming the only actress to stay that long on the show.

She also diversified into the bedding and furniture business and collaborated with hairstylist José Eber to launch STYLE by Jaclyn Smith wig collection for Paula Young Wigs in 2008. Smith’s fans commended her latest endeavor, mostly promising to purchase the perfume once it drops in a few days. “Congratulations and I would love to get it for my daughter Jackie,” a mom fan exclaimed.
