John Schneider Claims His Late Wife’s Ashes And Wedding Ring Got Stolen

Weeks after crying out about the theft of his General Lee car gift from his wife, John Schneider came forward to report the loss of her ashes and wedding ring. John took to social media, describing the stolen items and asking for help while apologizing for being an incessant bother in recent times.

John’s wife, Alicia Allain, died from breast cancer last year in February, and the actor has yet to get over it. While expressing his grief last September, John admitted that life without Alicia has been stressful as he is left with house chores, household responsibility, and their kids.

John described the container with the ashes as a tiny urn with a silver cross with the words “smile” and “Alicia” on it. He noted that he holds no grudge against the thief and simply wishes he get his valuables back soon. John remains baffled by his missing items, pleading with fans to join him in his search.

John warned that he is willing to have all involved punished by the law; however, a user claimed to know where to find his missing items. The 64-year-old said he found a photo of the urn somewhere on the internet, sparking hope about tracing the thief in question.

John asks fans for help

Amid losing his favorite car and personal effects, some people put up John’s Dukes of Hazzard’s memorabilia for auction without his consent. The studio by M&E Partners and Integra Asset Solutions in Louisiana put up props, costumes, scripts, autographs, and sentimental items from the seven-season series.

It appears the property John sold in 2019 contained many valuable items, hence the sales of his items, which were eventually stopped by fans. On the bright side, John revealed he is dating again during a May episode of Grace Begins, The Podcast with co-hosts Cathy Cardenas and Catherine Sutherland.
