Billy Joel’s Daughter Gets People Talking As She Wears Tight-Fitting Bustier For Performance

Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley’s daughter, Alexa Ray Joel put her sonorous voice to good use at a charity event for foster children, as she performed Christina Aguilera’s “Ain’t No Other Man.” Alexa’s voice was not the only attention grabbing feature of the evening, as her casual but gorgeous ensemble got people talking.

The 38-year-old, who wore a white corset and a pair of blue jeans held by suspenders, gave her fans on social media a glimpse into what goes on behind the scenes. She wore bold red lipstick and winged eyeliner and had her lush hair in big curls reminiscent of Hollywood’s latest fashion.

Alexa posted several moments from the night to her Instagram, including the one where she serenaded the audience with her singing and sultry moves. “I’ll come back for another musical variety show any ole’ time!! Always here for good folks n’ a great cause…,” her caption read.

Beating the nepo-baby allegations

Despite having famous parents, Alexa believes in working hard to make her own name, chart a course, and carve out her identity independently of her background. She has clarified in the past that she has no handouts or special favors from her family so far, and her career is based on hard work and dedication.

It is no doubt that Alexa is inspired by her father, with whom she bonds over old era music and classics. They have performed together multiple times such as their 2018 duet at Madison Square Garden, where they sang “New York State Of The Mind.” Alexa’s poise and sense of style is also handed down from Brinkley, who has taught her to get gracious, calm and confident in all situations.
