Jason Alexander showed up as eight different characters, including a teenage girl with the two-toned hair extension, in a new ad for the Chefler Foods condiment brand. He opens by asking a diner waitress, โHowโs the tilapia?โ and he turns to himself as the waitress in a wig and uniform to say, โNever order diner tilapia, babe.โ
Another Jason character enters the scene with a more terrifying voice to echo the same words. Next comes Jason as a line-order cook yelping, โOh never!!!โ and then the teenage girl with multi-colored hair repeating it with disgust.

Other diners tell a confused Jason to โGet the BLT,โ and his waitress self-concurs, saying, โWhen there’s Mike Amazing, you get the BLT.โ Jason agrees and adds Mikeโs Amazing to his sandwich, and the 30-second clip ends with the line โWhen itโs on, itโs onโ in capital letters.

Fans found the video on YouTube and shared their thoughts about the commercial in the comments. Someone suggested that the famous Seinfeld scene โwith him eating a sandwich in bed would be a good second commercial,โ while another simply commended his โrangeโ in the ad. โProlly the only โSeinfeldโ actor I actually like,โ another quipped.
Jason enjoyed doing Mikeโs Amazing commercial, as it reminded him of โall the extraordinary types of people that inhabited my neighborhood diner growing up.โ He recalled the โnostalgiaโ he felt while filming the ad and โnibbling some pretty great sandwiches with a bunch of wonderful creatives and crew.โ
