Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood is set to celebrate his 94th birthday in May after having a successful career spanning almost six decades. Recently, the actor was spotted looking disheveled, during an event to support his conservationist friend, Jane Goodall in Carmel California.

For the event, Eastwood wore a blue checkered flannel shirt, gray slacks, and a pair of sneakers while his beard and grey hair appeared unkempt. Although he had an assistant present at the event, Eastwood navigated his way to the stage unaided. His recent photo has sparked concerns amongst his fans, and a close source revealed that it seems the actor is losing touch with himself due to aging and he doesn’t give “a damn” about his looks.

Clint Eastwood has stopped caring about his look

The insider told RadarOnline, that the actor doesn’t care about maintaining a certain look in his final days despite his iconic status. “His kids tell Clint he should try to maintain his matinee idol style by getting a nice haircut, shaving his face, and dressing better,” the close pal shared. “But Clint says at his age he’s earned the right to be comfortable and not have to pretend.”

The friend added that despite the clamor from different quarters about Eastwood’s look, he chooses to prioritize what he wants. “A lot of folks say Clint is almost unrecognizable and looks like he’s been living in the streets, but Clint, in his usual manner, says that’s their problem, not his,” they added.

Although Eastwood seems to have stopped paying attention to his looks due to old age, the father of eight still prioritizes family time and his career. “He’s still running around after grandkids and playing an occasional game of golf,” the friend explained. “Clint is living the golden years of his life on his own terms. He doesn’t need women to swoon over him to make his day!”

Eastwood recently directed his supposed final movie, Juror No. 2 which stars actors like Zoey Deutch, Kiefer Sutherland, JK Simmons, Leslie Bibb, and Chris Messina. However, it is unsure if the director will retire after its release later in the year.
