Daisy Jones & the Six star Riley Keough looked unrecognizable as she rocked a new look for her role in the movie Sasquatch Sunset. The 34-year-old granddaughter of Rock ‘n’ Roll king Elvis Presley posted a photo of her in a wrinkled hairy mask with a beard, and her hands stuck out with a peace sign.
For the film, she had gone full-on Bigfoot with the mask and leaves stuck to her body. She previously promoted the project, which also stars Jesse Eisenberg, in the same mask. Riley explained that the role wasn’t easy as she had to deal with the costume which always leaves her breathless.
Riley Keough in ‘Sasquatch Sunset’
Sasquatch Sunset debuted at the Sundance Festival early this year and got a limited release on April 12 before it was available for wider viewing the following week. The film tells the story of “a family of Sasquatches in the misty forests of North America” that “find themselves on a collision course with the ever-changing world around them.”

Riley’s co-star Jesse detailed how hard it was getting into their Bigfoot costume, as well as having to sit down for up to two hours for makeup. She added that she experienced face twitches because of the “glue” that was used to attach the makeup.
In preparation for her role, Riley went to “sasquatch bootcamp” with Jesse, Nathan Zellner, and Christophe Zajac-Denek so they could learn about sasquatch and embody their role well. She claimed the experience was “super helpful.”
Thankfully their hard work paid off as the movie got a warm reception upon its release and had a 70% positive review with a rating of 6.6/10 on Rotten Tomatoes.
