Audrey Hepburn’s Granddaughter Emma Ferrer Looks Just Like Her Famous Grandmother

by Peace A

Published April 20, 2024

Three decades after Audrey Hepburn’s passing, her granddaughter Emma Ferrer brings back memories with her striking resemblance to the late legend. Emma, who turns 30 next month, is an artist and former model who has posed for magazines like Harper’s Bazaar and renowned fashion brands like Dior, Givenchy, and Tiffany & Co.

Like her grandmother, who is famous for her graceful depiction of the stylish and enigmatic Holly Golightly in Breakfast At Tiffany’s, Emma is just as charming and captivating. Although she never met Audrey, Emma’s dad— Sean Hepburn Ferrer, “will sometimes laugh at things I do or say.” “He says I inherited the ‘comic gene’ from her,” Emma once said.

Aside from being a screen goddess, Audrey was actively involved in humanitarian endeavors via UNICEF which she joined in 1989. She was awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1992 for her service and devotion to charity, which Emma seems to have inherited as well. “She really revolutionized what we take for granted today,” the proud granddaughter gushed. “Which is to have a celebrity of her magnitude associated with a cause like she was. But at the time— I don’t know if we can really appreciate how revolutionary that, in fact, was.”

Last year, Emma posted a photo of Audrey with a lengthy caption that celebrated her goodwill. She quoted her father, who wrote the long tribute in remembrance of the Roman Holiday star 30 years after her passing. “Audrey was a tireless advocate for the rights of children and girls and is still a model of strength and passion for all of us,” the statement reads. Fans from the old and new generation left kind comments, with the latter wishing they met her as well.

Emma did not have a clear picture as to the magnitude of her grandmother’s fame growing up until she “started going to friends’ houses and seeing that she was in a poster in their kitchen, or I would see her on a T-shirt or on handbags.” “I guess this actually is a bigger deal than I thought it was,’” she had wondered.

As she grew, people started to point out that her expressive eyes and dark hair reminded them of Audrey. After watching Breakfast At Tiffany’s, she realized they were right. “She has certain mannerisms that I can connect with. For example, this innocent look of surprise— a wide-eyed nature, she sometimes has,” she explained. “I see that in my little brother, too, and it makes me feel similar to her in a way, which is really nice.”
