Carnie, who is “proud and pumped” about her weight loss journey, “did this PURELY through diet— no gluten or sugar, no butter, and keeping fats down too.” She adds, “Lately I have indulged in cheese and nuts which have more fat. If I chose not to eat corn tortillas, nuts, and cheese – there’s no way I could keep this up,” she explained.

The pop singer said it was “a miracle” to “have totally adjusted my eating habits to satisfy my cravings but in a realistic way.” Fans praised the Wilson Phillips co-founder in the comments while encouraging her new lifestyle. “You look absolutely beautiful. I just lost 110 pounds myself, and I sure as hell don’t look as good as you do. Keep up the good work. You got this,” someone cheered.

Carnie underwent her first weight loss surgery involving gastric bypass while weighing 300 lbs in 1999. She went under the knife again in 2012 for a lap band surgery after gaining back more weight. “I’m definitely up in weight. I’m looking forward to getting an exercise routine again,” she told Fox News at the time. “I’ve had so much stress, so it’s really a struggle.”

After getting breast implants, Carnie had to be back on the operating table for reconstruction after they ruptured. “I have to go have them taken out and face this reconstruction, which is really scary. I wasn’t sure if I was going to share it, but I am sharing it, it’s important. Today I wouldn’t have put them in. I’m different now,” she regrettably admitted. “I have different priorities. This is scary, and I’m going to face this, and I’m going to get over it.”
