After losing his beloved wife, Kelly Preston, to breast cancer in 2020, Pulp Fiction star John Travolta has remained single. However, a source recently revealed that the 70-year-old actor may have eyes for his co-star, Kristin Davis. The insider added that John’s friends are urging him to ask Davis out since “she won’t make the first move.”
John and Davis became “flirty friends” during the making of the upcoming heist movie Cash Out, and the latter “would definitely be receptive” to being coupled up with the father of two. “Hopefully, John can get his courage up,” the tipster said, adding that John “has been ready to date for a while but always seems to chicken out when it comes down to it.”
John Travolta and Kristin Davis have been gushing about each other
Interestingly, John and Davis, who is a single mom of two adopted kids, Gemma Rose and Wilson, have had nothing but nice things to say about each other to their pals. Davis “has been saying John’s a cool guy and telling people how funny he is…and John’s been gushing to everyone that Kristin’s smart and beautiful. People who’ve seen them together say it’s obvious he’s totally smitten.”

More reports say, “Their friends think they’re perfect for each other and that if John doesn’t take a chance, he’ll miss out on a great opportunity.” Earlier this year, John was said to be looking for love again, with the help of matchmakers, to find someone who is “kind, warm, gracious, funny, and spontaneous” and meets his list of criteria. “He’s not asking for much…and being attractive wouldn’t hurt,” an insider quipped.
Friends and family have allegedly urged John to move on since “Kelly would have wanted to see him happy.” He is also motivated to find a fitting stepmom for his kids, Ella and Benjamin, whom he shared with his late lover. “It’s the single thought that’s driving him at this point – that and being strong and healthy and happy for his kids, Ella and Benjamin,” a source revealed. “Being alone won’t help that!”
On the other hand, Davis admitted in 2021 that she hates casual dating, hence why she may be single. “I’m not interested in the small talk, I find it boring. I just want to cut to the deep stuff, and they don’t always want to do that,” the And Just Like That star told The Sunday Times, adding that she is “open to the unexpected.”
“I mean, I’m not not dating but I’m not actively dating,” she noted, while also pointing out that she is cautious about who meets her children.
