Singer and actress Barbra Streisand recently shared a photo of her 57-year-old son, Jason Gould, featuring the bold words “Sacred Days.” Jason leaned against the wall in a white shirt and black trousers, flashing a smile in what is likely an album cover.
The Funny Girl star accompanied her post with a note that read, “My darling son Jason has a new record out today. Check it out on iTunes. I am so proud of you, Jason!!!! Mom,” followed by a heart emoji. She added a link to the song and asked her fans to stream her son’s new music.

Although Barbra sought to promote her son’s craft, many fans were more concerned about the resemblance she shared with Jason and how handsome he looked. “Good looking, talented, hard-working. He’s the whole package!” someone gushed. “His face is so very smooth. Nice songs, congratulations,” another added.

Some also recalled when Jason was younger, around the peak of his famous mother’s career. “Congratulations you’re amazing and just watching you grow thank you for such memories,” Donna Karan commented. “Every time I see him, I remember when he sang to you. I can’t remember the event, but I was bawling,” a user noted while more encouraging words poured in.
Barbra was pregnant with Jason at 23, after four years with her ex-husband, Elliott Gould. The news came as a shock to her, but she came to embrace motherhood and juggled it with fame. “The news was a shock…I had honestly thought there was something wrong with me because I had never gotten pregnant. Having a baby seemed like something for other women, not for me,” she once admitted.
Despite being in the public eye with his mom on several occasions, Jason, who came out as gay in the ‘80s, prefers to lead a private life. “I sort of like being out of the spotlight,” he confessed. Like his mom, Jason is also a fantastic actor who has starred in productions like The Prince of Tides, Back to Brooklyn, Listen to Me, and many more. He acknowledged Barbra’s post promoting his music, saying he is “also very proud of” and loves her “deeply.”
