Bruce Willis’ Family Are Concerned About His Weight Loss And Reduced Appetite

Since Die Hard star Bruce Willis was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia, his family, including his ex-wife Demi Moore and their kids, have kept a closer eye on him while showering him with support and updating the public. Recent reports revealed that the actor’s condition is getting worse as he hardly eats or gains weight.

His current spouse, Emma Hemming Willis, has been his primary caretaker, and she is trying to “stay positive” alongside their kids and her stepchildren. An insider told In Touch that Bruce “doesn’t express hunger much,” and “the challenge at home is making sure that he’s getting enough to eat, that he’s not skipping mealtime.”

The source added that Bruce’s diet “is filled with foods that have the chance to improve his health instead of subtracting from it.” Amidst these challenges, his five children and their mothers are trying to spend quality time with him, especially his wife, Emma. “She continues to be the best person on the planet to look after Bruce, protecting him from the everyday hazards that can be dangerous for somebody with his illness,” the source revealed.

Emma also does an excellent job of controlling the narrative against online gossip and rumor peddlers through her Instagram page. She recently attacked news outlets for saying Bruce “has no joy” due to his illness. Now, I can just tell you that is far from the truth. I need society and whoever’s writing these stupid headlines to stop scaring people,” she snapped.

The insider added, “Everybody’s staying positive about Bruce’s future and hopeful that he finds some kind of comfortable plateau or even, God willing, shows signs of improvement.”

“They know being in the presence of his family seems to bring him a lot of comfort, so that is what they focus on,” they continued.

Bruce Willis’ family wants the actor to feel loved and happy despite his deteriorating health. “Once Bruce was diagnosed, everyone came together to keep his memory of the family intact. They’re all there all the time. This experience has brought the whole family even closer together,” US Weekly previously reported.
