In a recent interview with Extra, the actress who is set to mark her 90th birthday in April revealed that despite the significance of the milestone, she intends to forgo any lavish celebrations.

Instead, she emphasized her complete focus on an ongoing project, reaffirming her relentless dedication to her work. “I’m going to be on a set,”  MacLaine stated. “I’ll be in Atlantic City.”

During the discussion, MacLaine revealed that working alongside Peter Dinklage in American Dreamer was surprisingly effortless. She expressed that despite it being their first time working together, the synergy between them made the process smooth and enjoyable. “We really hit it off,” she confessed.

The 89-year-old who played the role of Astrid Fanelli, a wealthy and lonely widow in the upcoming movie, delved into her reflections on the timeless concept of the American dream. “I think that we should care more about what the American democracy means,” she explained. “We seem to have forgotten what it means, and I think it’s time we get back into the level of reality of understanding American democracy.”
