It’s been over six decades since the death of the famous Australian zoo conservationist, Steve Irwin, and a devoted fan paid tribute to him on his posthumous 62nd birthday with an AI-generated photo of how he would have looked if he were still alive today.
Irwin became popular in the ’90s for his TV series Crocodile Hunter, which he co-hosted with his wife, Teri. Sadly, in 2006, during one of his wildlife expenditures, he was stung by a giant stingray, and this led to his death. Though it has been 18 years since his tragic death, the legend’s legacy still lives on through his family, especially his son.

An AI photo obtained by Daily Express showed that the famous wildlife educator would have aged gracefully into his 60s owing to the strength and energetic display he thrilled his fans with before he died in his early 40s.

As for looks, the AI photo predicted the same physical appearance as what he was known for, only that normal aging processes like wrinkles on the forehead and eyes would have set in. Also, his Tresses have changed to grey, and he also sports a trimmed beard and mustache.

Irwin loved his signature Ranger outfit complete with a pair of khakis, and the AI-inspired picture didn’t fail to capture that. The AI photo also showed that the conservationist, who would have been 62, would have continued to explore till this time as that was a life he wouldn’t have wanted to miss out on.
One generated AI picture featured Irwin holding a giant snake around his neck while maintaining a calm look. Another photo showed the legend staring into the distance, connecting with a crocodile resting its head on his shoulder.
