Kyra Sedgwick Shares Old Photo Of First Time She Met Hubby Kevin Bacon In 1987

Hollywood power couple Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon have been married for almost four decades after they crossed paths during the production of PBS’ Lemon Sky in 1987, a year before their wedding. The couple has had a thriving marriage, and they’ve welcomed two children—Travis Sedgwick Bacon and Sosie Bacon, who also followed in her parents’ footsteps in the entertainment industry.

For Bacon, meeting Sedgwick was the best thing that happened to him, as he was at the lowest point of his life then, and Sedgwick became a ray of hope. “The time I was hitting what I considered to be bottom was also the time I met my wife; our kids were born, and good things were happening,” he said. “And I was able to keep supporting myself; that always gave me strength.”

Bacon reacted to the Valentine’s post from his wife by sharing a photo from one of their memorable moments together — their wedding day — with the caption, “My forever Valentine.”

Fans had sweet and nice words for both Bacon and Sedgwick for maintaining a solid relationship despite being celebrities. “It’s so nice to hear that couples that are celebrities have made it work and is still making it work,” a user commented under Sedgwick’s post. “Happy Valentine’s Day!”

“Your relationship is on my vision board. I sat next to you at your wife’s premiere at the mill valley film festival years ago,” another user shared under Bacon’s post. “Seeing the way you look at her and joy at her accomplishments set the standard for me. Thank you for the inspiration.”
