51-Year-Old Gwyneth Paltrow Proves Age Is Just A Number As She Rocks Mini Skirt

Gwyneth Paltrow shared a stunning photo from one of the rooms in her Montecito mansion while wearing a white top, matching Crocs, and a pale blue denim mini skirt. The Goop founder looked youthful and preppy in the simple but chic outfit as she held her phone to the mirror for a selfie. Her toned legs stole the show, proving that her workouts by Tracy Anderson, which she swears by, are working out. “This lady has been keeping me healthy for fifteen years!!! But it’s still really hard,” Paltrow once gushed on her Instagram stories.

The mother of two also rocked a pair of aviator glasses and styled her hair in a straightened middle part while staying makeup-free. Speaking of hair, Paltrow recently shared her hair care routine, which involves the Goop salt scrub, the Goopglow Restore + Shine Hair Serum, daily shampoo and conditioner, and Viviscal. “My hair has been through a lot. Bleach, irons, and hot tools on sets and shoots have done their fair share of damage over the years,” she revealed on social media last month. “But now, I finally have a clean hair-care routine that truly nourishes and restores my hair— leading to shiny, bouncy, healthy-looking results.”

Paltrow shared many more mirror selfies showing off her toned body in different outfits, including a brown suit, pajamas, cute two-pieces, and a black outfit. “It was a relaxed January,” her caption reads, with her photos proving that the month was indeed restful as she was out of the office at the time. With the post getting over 73,000 likes and hundreds of comments, one can tell her followers found the photos delightful. “Good Lord, every single one is actual PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” singer-songwriter and Hank Williams Jr’s daughter, Holly Audrey, gushed. Another fan said it was “refreshing” to see Paltrow bare-faced and relaxed. “So refreshing to see no make up. Natural beauty at its best!!” they exclaimed. “Always young and vibrant,” someone else added.

The actress shared this carousel nearly two weeks after her appearance at the Giorgio Armani show for Paris Fashion Week. She wore a fitted matte black jacket with shiny detail and matching trousers for the event, with her center-parted hair sitting straight on her shoulders. She opted for a light makeup look and cute stilettos. “Thank you for having me, Mr. Armani. The collection was so beautiful Au revoir, Paris,” her caption reads. Paltrow shared what inspires her wardrobe and a few hacks to build one like hers in a 2021 interview. “I dress like myself. I express myself and cultivate my presentation more sartorially than through any other expression,” she revealed.

Paltrow’s first step in creating her preferred style was to define it. She loves classic outfits, creative accessories, cashmere sweaters, wide-leg pants, and seasonal clothing. “I’ve always gravitated towards these pieces, and I feel most like myself when I wear them,” she explained. She also avoids impulsive buying and prefers window shopping to inspire more creativity rather than purchasing based on feelings. “For me, visiting a store is almost like walking through a gallery. It’s a form of entertainment to me, because I feel so inspired by what I see in stores,” the Goop founder added. “But it doesn’t necessarily mean buying something new.”

Paltrow, who is turning 52 this year, is not afraid to age and is embracing the changes that come with it while living a consistent, healthy lifestyle. “Wellness pillars like sleep, hydration, breath, walking, meditation, eating whole, unprocessed foods, all of those things, have such a big impact on how you look,” she revealed.

Why is Gwyneth Paltrow popular?

Instagram

As she turned 51 last September, Paltrow learned that getting older was not as bad as she thought it to be as a 40-year-old. “Fifty was great. I was concerned I was going to feel a lot of grief or fear because I remember when I turned 40, the anticipation… I really flipped out,” she told Bustle. “I didn’t have that at all at 50. I was like, ‘I love my friends. I love my husband. I love my kids. Yeah, my job is hard. But this is good.’”

In addition to having a great family and career, Paltrow has grown thick skin against the societal pressure on women her age. “I don’t give a f— what anyone says about me, thinks about me. This is who I am,” she continued. “I felt like 50 was a deepening into myself. And, apparently, that just keeps getting better.”

Instagram

She also embraced her graying hair last year as she asked her followers whether to “go gray or keep my highlights.” She opened up about looking up to “Andie MacDowell, with her beautiful gray curls” regarding silver hair, especially in a world that deems it bad for aging women. “It’s handsome to go gray as a man, but for women, it’s like, ‘What do you plan to do about your wrinkles and your aging skin?’” she complained last year. “There’s definitely a double standard.”

As with most famous people, Paltrow has been a subject of public backlash on several occasions, especially for her lifestyle, which involves controversial routines and eating habits. Her wellness advice, as well as products like the yoni egg, which she said helps to “increase chi, orgasms, vaginal muscle tone, hormonal balance, and feminine energy in general,” have been under public scrutiny after health professionals debunked her claims. “I have seen a ton of Gwyneth Paltrow stuff on the internet the last few days, and I just don’t understand it,” a social media user said per one of her items. “Lots of people shill unscientific pseudo-medical garbage. Why do we care so much what she does?”

Instagram

Aside from being criticized and called an “almond mom” for her limited diet consisting of bone broth, dates, coffee, and vegetables, Paltrow has also been tagged a “nepo baby” due to her celebrity background, which has given her some leverage. She clapped back at the label, which she considered an “ugly moniker” against kids of famous people. “Now there’s this whole nepo baby culture, and there’s this judgment that exists around kids of famous people. But there’s nothing wrong with doing or wanting to do what your parents do,” she told Bustle in an interview. “I just hope that my children always feel free to pursue exactly what they want to do, irrespective of what anybody’s going to think or say.”
