It was a family affair for Rob Reiner on the 75th Emmy Awards red carpet last week as the actor appeared with his wife and kids in matching black ensembles. Rob, his wife, Michele Singer, and their son, Jake, posed in pants and blazers, while Rob’s daughter, Romy, wore an elegant ankle-length dress.
Jake and Romy shared the moment with their followers on Instagram, and they delightfully left kind words in the comments. “While the evening was lovely, and I am grateful to have attended, I would have much preferred to be knitting in sweats,” Romy wrote. “Maybe I can bring my knitting along with me next time.”

Others were focused on the part of the caption where Romy revealed her wish to be home knitting instead. “Knitting!? You’re so classically talented! Always pulling out a new skill,” a user exclaimed. The 27-year-old had included a photo of her working with her yarn in the last slide.
Rob and family
Aside from being a Hollywood celebrity, Rob is a family man who has managed to have a lasting union with his photographer wife after meeting during the production of 1989’s When Harry Met Sally. “As you go along, the relationship becomes better because you really become best friends,” Rob said of their three decades together.
Rob, who was previously married to Penny Marshall, credits Singer, with whom he shares three biological children (Jake, Romy, and Nick) and one adopted daughter (Tracy), for giving him a new perspective on life. Tracy works in the entertainment industry as an actor, while Nick is a film writer known for 2015’s Being Charlie.
