For Carol, work continues “as long as I’m healthy, and I’ve got my brain.” She has no plans to retire again since she deems herself fit and in love with her craft. “Thank God—and if it’s fun to do, I’ll do it,” she said in an interview. The Queen of comedy, who turns 91 in April, claimed she felt like an eleven-year-old on becoming a nonagenarian. It’s not a birthday party. It’s not a roast. It’s a variety show.”
