Bo Derek Gets Flirty With Husband In Rare Red Carpet Appearance

Bo Derek attended the Masters of Air premiere in Los Angeles with her husband, John Corbett. The lovebirds graced the red carpet in matching black attires and could not keep their hands off one another while they posed.

Bo wore a white shirt with black slacks and a velvet blazer, while John complimented her in a black jacket with trousers. Also, there was a shot of the moment where it appeared as if John spoke flirtatiously into his wife’s ear while she grinned from ear to ear. The couple have been together for over two decades and share no children.

Bo Derek makes rare appearance with husband

Bo and John were together for twenty years before getting married in 2020. According to John, they decided to make something beautiful during the pandemic year, so they held a private wedding unknown to the public until an interviewer noticed his band. “We decided to get married. We didn’t want 2020 to be that thing that everybody looks back at and hated,” he revealed. “We thought, let’s get one nice thing out of it.”

Interestingly, the couple met at an Oscars party in the early 2000s and hit it off pretty quickly. “I kept saying to my friends, ‘I’ll wait until all the sparks and all that get going.’ And it finally happened,” Bo, who had not dated in five years when they met, recalled.

Lasting love

John, who recently starred in the ABC dramedy series Rebel and Netflix’s To All the Boys, credited Bo’s listening abilities for the longevity of their relationship. “She really listens to me. By that, I mean she really listens to what I’m saying and watches what I’m doing, and she’s just present,” he told ET. “She’s in the moment, as the cliché saying goes.”

Bo also praised her husband, who makes her laugh all the time. “He’s full of life, full of joy: I became attracted to him, and I still am. We take things day by day and I think we are still there,” the Bolero actress gushed last summer. Per the kids, the celebrity duo seem content together and have yet to reveal any plans to expand the family. “We’re beyond that, I think. We’re beyond that having kids,” the My Big Fat Greek Wedding actor reportedly said.
