Randolph passed away peacefully in her sleep at her New York City residence on Saturday, her son reported to TMZ. Her passing was attributed to natural causes related to aging. The Hollywood Reporter states that Randolph was chosen for the celebrated TV show following Jackie Gleason taking notice of her in a chewing gum commercial. Impressed, Gleason invited her to join his variety show, Cavalcade of Stars. Randolph subsequently played Trixie Norton in the show’s spinoff, The Honeymooners. However, this series had a brief run of only 39 episodes before it was discontinued.

Although The Honeymooners had a brief original run, in 2016 it was revealed that a contemporary version of the show was in the works at CBS, though there have been no further developments announced since then. In 2017, Randolph made an appearance on the red carpet for a musical adaptation of the classic TV show, which had a short engagement at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey.

Rest in peace to the last living cast member of The Honeymooners.
