Fans were impressed by Pamela Anderson’s hair after she shared her recent Instagram post promoting a laundry detergent brand, The Laundress. The Canadian-American actress pulled her gray hair into a messy bun and kept her glowing face makeup-free as she showed her followers how she uses the product.
Having bleached her hair her whole life, Pamela’s choice to let her gray hair shine was praiseworthy. “I love how she is embracing aging,” someone wrote. “She is so beautiful,” another added, complimenting Pamela’s natural yet gorgeous appearance.
Pamela enjoys aging

Pamela has opted for a minimalist, no-makeup look for her recent public appearances, including her book tour in 2023. She claims her decision to age naturally feels “freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious,” as most Hollywood celebrities seek ways to cover up or modify the flaws that come with growing older, including graying hair.

As a model, the mother of two hardly got a say in her appearance until now, and she is making the most of her newfound freedom. “I want to let my hair go kind of natural gray, put my little straw hat on, don’t wear makeup,” she said on Dax Shepard and Monica Padman’s podcast. “I mean, that’s my comfortable kind of state.”
Recreating Pamela’s signature hair
In her Netflix documentary, Pamela: A Love Story, the Baywatch alum revealed the secret to achieving her signature blonde hair. She stopped at a local shop in Ladysmith, British Columbia, where she buys the Garnier’s at-home Nutrisse Ultra Color hair dye for less than $10. “My mom taught me how to color my hair from the drugstore,” she said. “I can do it myself in 20 minutes. Scandinavian Blonde, here I come.”
She noted that her must-have shade was the PL-1 coconut blonde color, but also recommended the go-to formula in vibrant tones like golden brown, jet black, warm burgundy, and indigo blue. Additionally, Pamela admitted that a G-string holds up her famous messy updos since the iconic style made a comeback among TikTok users. “This is the trick of the trade,” she said, adding that her curls “always had a pair of panties in them.”
