Fans had mixed reactions after Trisha Yearwood debuted her new look in bangs and a slender figure. The singer shared photos of her backstage at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace with the caption, “Closing out Vegas ‘23 with a bang!” She also thanked her glam team and wished her followers a Merry Christmas.
The three-slide post got over 40,000 likes and thousands of comments from her curious followers who were speculating if she worked on her body. “She doesn’t even look the same?? Is this really her?” someone asked. “This doesn’t even look like Trisha,” another said.
Trisha gets accused of using Ozempic
An injectable weight-loss drug called Ozempic has been making rounds lately, especially after celebrities like Sharon Osbourne admitted to using it. Fans accused Trisha of using the semaglutide medication to achieve her slender figure; however, she has yet to state so explicitly. “Omg what happens when you can’t take the ozempic?” an Instagram user asked per her recent post.

Others alleged that she also underwent surgery to reshape her face and appear more youthful. “This doesn’t even look like her! Did she have facial surgery? Sure she lost weight but her face is definitely not the same!” another suspicious follower added.
A few people came to the country singer’s defense, asking critics to be happy for her and celebrate her. “Why is it that when a woman decides to lose weight, update her makeup and hair that there is so much negativity,” someone wrote, leaving a heart emoji for Trisha. “I say good for her. You look amazing Trisha.”
Trisha’s weight loss journey
Trisha, who claims to come from a family that is “genetically and habitually predisposed to be heavy,” started her weight loss journey at the age of 15. She made the news in 2013 after losing up to 30 pounds and going from size 14 to 10. “I’ve been blessed to live a lot of dreams,” she said at the time. “But finally looking the way I want, feeling better than I ever knew I could, and wearing a tucked-in shirt with a black leather skirt— that is way, way up there.”
Although she has undergone many bodily changes since then, Trisha tries to maintain her figure by eating healthy 80 percent of the time. “Sometimes I do great; sometimes I don’t,” she told Parade in 2021. “I also challenge myself to make the healthier things taste good. I love to roast a huge pan of root vegetables. Butternut squash, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, carrots.”
